Just In Case...

So if everything goes according to plan then we should be closing on our house in a month from today! Hooray! Originally I thought Asher would come after that but now I'm not so sure... so I decided to get our room ready at my in-laws just in case he comes sooner. Here our some pictures of the temporary baby zone: 

This cradle was made by Josh's dad and grandpa for when he was born.

These are all his fury friends... but of course they will be taken out when he gets here.

And this is my rigged up changing station. 

It's not perfect, but it'll get the job done.

Being someone who loves to decorate I am a bit sad I don't have his nursery all up and ready for him, but in good time.  First things first... close on the house, and then decorate... hmm all while having a new baby. Could be a challenge to say the least, but it'll get done.

Wow-ee-wee I just can't believe soon my little babe will be in my arms.

Hopefully at my next doctor's appointment on Friday I will have a better idea of where I'm at.

I'll be sure to update then :)

PS- anyone else having photobucket issues? I hope that gets fixed soon.

Outfit & Vintage Printables

Rest was accomplished yesterday for sure. Praise God. 

I also read a lot of First Samuel (About Samuel to Saul to King David). 

Well, I haven't read this book in I would say years, and honestly I don't remember it being this exciting! 

Plays out in my head like a movie, very fun to read, and God is revealing so much to me through it as well.

Yesterday we also went out to a show and I decided to do a little "What I Wore" Post...

I'll tell you what if I had to wear one brand of shoes for the rest of my life it would be Minnetonkas. 

In fact when Joshua and I first met, he was wearing some... & after he told me his testimony

I said, "Are those Minnetonkas?"

Which he replied, "Yes" & boy that's what really won me over...

Just kidding ;)

On another note, how many people here like home decor?

Because I sure do, and the less money I pay while still looking good is the better!

All you do is look for an image you want, download it to your computer

And either print it yourself, or for higher quality at a print shop.

Then add a vintage frame, and viola.. wall decor.

Home Is Where The Heart Is

As I stated in an earlier post, Joshua & I live with another couple from our community group (the lovely Cory & Michelle) until we move to Virginia early next year.  We really love it here even the small space. (Sometimes we can be quite the minimalists... especially the hubs) Anyways I thought I would show you some of my favorite parts of our room...

I also wanted to show you guys the awesome gift Joshua got me for our one year in August. I had long been wanting a locket. The only jewelry I wear are my wedding rings, but I just thought it would be nice to have something else that was special & this is what I Joshua ending up getting for me:    & I love it sooooo much!  In the end of the day, I just feel so thankful to have such a wonderful husband, and also have someone who I can be completely goofy with me. (As seen below)
